Crafton-Preyer Theatre

Returning to London in search of his family after an unjust exile, Sweeney Todd reunites with his box of razors and soon his barbershop becomes a front for murder. Sweeney’s creative accomplice, Mrs. Lovett, keeps looking to him for something he’s incapable of giving her, love. Through mortal wounds and brilliant melodies, revenge and yearning loom large in this classic Sondheim masterpiece. It’s bloody chaos and a 100% can’t-miss! Just don’t eat the pie. Staged in collaboration with KU Opera and featuring the KU Symphony Orchestra.

This production includes adult themes and violent imagery. It is not appropriate for all audiences. A simulated gunshot and water-based theatrical haze are used in this production.
